Freelance

Web Developer / Designer working on various projects and applications. I try to leverage my knowledge to help clients in many facets.

Hand coding projects with HTML5, CSS3, JQUERY, PHP, MySQL, and other languages as needed. Also designing and sketching in Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

Technical Specialist 2007 - 2012

Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company

Web / application developer. I was in charge of developing, maintaining, and supporting multiple applications built on different frameworks.

Frameworks used and developed on were C#, ASP .Net, VB .Net, PHP, Shell Script, SQL, MySQL, HTML, XML, and JSP across Windows and Linux platforms. Other duties included configuring, support and training for plant floor mobile video units deployed all over the world. Used ASP.NET to build an Estimate Order Reporting system that tracks estimates from the initial request through to routing out to Regions.

IT Director2005 - 2007

Graphic Publications

Maintained and deployed servers, applications, system hardware, phone systems, server backup units, as well as system software and updates.

I was also in charge of system repairs for mac and pc environments. Developed, maintained, and webmastered both www.gpubs.com and also www.oacountry.com (a tourism site that contained links to all local hotels, restaurants, and businesses. During my tenure I also filled in at all levels of the publication production environment including but not limited to photography and photo editing, pagination, ad building, ad system management and layout, and design.

Developer / Designer2001 - 2005

Wayne Dalton Garage Doors

Responsible for maintaining and building ordering and estimating database of various door models using HP4000 systems.

I was also responsible for building applications and reporting structures in Websphere with a Progress DB for use in upper level executive meetings and reports. Developed bills of materials and parts list for a large amount of commercial and consumer garage doors and rolling doors / grilles.

Engineer / Designer1996 - 2001

Wayne Dalton Garage Doors

Designed custom track layouts for commercial garage doors to avoid obstructions, also developed an automated drawing system for spec drawings that were sent out to commercial customers with similar obstruction scenarios. In charge of a 4 member team that constructed drawings and solutions for customers regarding their commercial doors. Employed a variety of 2d and 3d drafting applications. Developed internal support website for maintaining current standards and design solutions among the group.
